Washington Excel Map Reflection

In chapter 7, the thing I will remeber most it the Whitman Massacre. What I learned is that when the measles started becoming a problem, Dr. Whitman was treating Indians and White patients but there were more Whites getting better than there were Indians and the Indians noticed it. They thought Dr. Whitman was treating was treating the Whites better. This was important because the Whitman Massacre could have led to other wars.

Washington State History Chapter 3…

In chapter three, the things that I will remember most are how similar and how different the Coastal and Plateau Indians were from eachother. What I learned is that there are about thirty-seven different tribes that are coastal and twenty that are plateau. The languages that are spoken in the coastal tribes are Chinook, Coastal Salish, and Nootka. The languages that the plateau tribes spoke were Chinook, Interior Salish, Sahaptin, and Waiilatpuan. The coastal indians had a very strict society unlike the plateau indians which did not. These differences are what seperate the coastal and plateau indians.

Crusades Research Project

There were many highs and lows of researching on the crusades and the individual as well, but overall I think I did a pretty good job. First of all, one of the good things about my paper was that it was a good length. It wasnt to long but it also wasnt to short. I think a person reading my story would say that I had good conventions, such as spelling, grammar, and appropriate sentence endings. I think I did a good job using complete sentences and making my paper interesting. If  I could change something about my crusades research paper, then it would be using a little bit more detail. I think this would be a good idea because it would give people a better understaning of Anna Comnena and how the crusades affected her. I really enjoyed this project. It was fun coming to lab every day and researching on Anna Comnena and the Crusades. It was, to me, a lot more fun to do it in the lab, on the computer, than in the classroom with no device to help us get information. It was easier to have been able to write individual paragraphs than to just write an essay on the crusades. This has been a good subject to write about and it was definitly the most fun of  all the projects we have done this year. This is the best project yet!

Muhammed Book Refelection

When I started my Muhammed book,  I started on my summaries. At first it was a little confusing, but as i went along, i got the hang of it. I think the product of my Muhammed book is pretty good. I colored the pictures as well as my title page. What i thought made my book cool was how I wrote the Arabic words. I used a Kiligraphy pen and made them detailed. I learned more about the Muslim practices of Islam and how it is different from many religions here. I think I learn more from projects like these.

Dear Mom and Dad,  during the first trimester in science we have learned the basic rocks, the rock cycle, and the layers of the Grand Canyon. We have taken tests and quizzes to see how well we have progressed in the study of rocks. In math we have basiclly been reviewing what we learned in sixth grade. We have been doing fractions, decimals, correlations, like terms and lots of others. In L.A. we have worked on generating yellows by picking a good topic and writing paragraphs. at last, in social studies we have been learning about the mideival times and the roles of different people in the middle ages. A thing that has helped me be successful is taking notes. This makes it so I do well on tests and quizzes.
